Michaelirish, I was a bit worried about the headlines myself. However if you follow up the original publication, it will show that Quantiferon is not one of the tests it has reviewed. All the tests are for active TB - pulmonary TB, for which QFF is not aimed at, at present, but probably works very well for as well. CHeck out :
