Spoke with Chris Williams of Operations this morning.......... he said they will be looking at hiring a jumbo and the associated crews from MacMahons to assist with the development at Sally Malay. This will leave the current Sally Malay crews to focus on production. This fits with the advertisments in Broome's local rag yesterday.
He stopped short of saying they were behind in production and although he was present at the Diggers and Dealers presentation, he couldn't recall the forecast of 8000 Tonnes production.
He said the introduction of a development crew from outside is more to just make sure that they are where they want to be in twelve months time.
I'm pleased to see they are looking forward and have been proactive here. A small bite on the bullet for longer term growth.
SMY..........with regards to the sell off yesterday, you may notice the same thing happening to a lot of stocks. Part of it may be that traders are unwilling to hold overnight in case we get a bad lead overnight from the Yanks.
