IMO, the key report will be the cash flow report.
BHP will come under some pressure to outline what it will do with it's "lazy" balance sheet.
It had substantial cash at the 1/2 yearly ($7.1B US ($8.65B AUD) plus cash flow from this 1/2 year. If it earnt no cash for this half, it could still pay out a $1usd dividend and have money in the bank.
MMMMmmm share buyback, special dividend, strategic aquisition. Some hint will be expected this afternoon
