My long term view of ALU is very very positive. This company is pretty unique in its field and offers great exposure to the AI industry (which offers so much growth). My first buy in was at 5.49 I have traded in and out a number of times. Selling when they were over bought and buying back in when they were over sold. I was free carrying the shares when I sold out recently. That last sale was the first time I sold all my stock. There was two reasons why I did this.

The sell of into the annual report announcement was easily predictable. I am a chartist and Its happened before regularly. Secondly I am very cautious about the world markets in the coming months. Especially the top 6 Nasdaq stocks that dominate the world markets. They are all at insanely high prices. My eldest son went to Seattle to work with Microsoft in 2011. MSFT share price was $US25 at the time. They recently traded at over $US300 and its the same story with the other top Nasdaq stocks.

Some sort of correction is well over due with these top stocks. 10-25% is plausible. In MSFT a 20% correction would bring the SP down to $240 where it traded in May of this year. If this happens then ALU will follow as well.

The big question is "if" and "when". Personally I want to see what happens in the coming months


Am I looking at getting back in? Obviously yes but not at current price. Todays share price action will have ramifications in the coming days and weeks. So I am not jumping in any time soon.

I will start to get interested when the weekly RSI(5) trades for some weeks in the red zone which is under 20 for a couple of weeks I marked this on my chart. So an re entry price at under $27 is plausible.

Just the way I deal with the markets so that I am not surprised by what plays out, as always DYOR.
