Reasonable argument.
The only thing I'll add is that the new far left Brazilian president (Lula) has very strong support in Washington DC, particular so at the moment because of his political ideologies.
I know Brazil is part of BRICS, but the US is also clearly trying it's best to maintain very close relations with Brazil at the same time.
It will be interesting to see how the geo-politics impact on commodities like Lithium coming out of Brazil.
