ace, I don't understand what you mean by this:

Firstly, there is a regulatory requirement for directors to advise of change in holdings, so it's never "a very long time" between the sale or purchase of shares and the notice.

Secondly, if you go back and check, MW's sale was announced at the end of the day on 13 Oct 2010. The date of the change was also 13 Oct. So same day notification.

Are you getting confused between the different companies?
