i must admit, i would have been mortified if anyone i have debated with over the past months on the matter were to have contested it.

at the end of the day, though i might disagree with my foes in this forum, i will acknowledge that most of them have displayed commendable intellect, and i would hire any one of them as lawyers if i were ever in need of attempting to defend someone who is "guilty as charged"

it remains to be seen if any of them would win the case, but the unrelenting enthusiasm certainly displays a spirit of character.

of course i wouldn't admit that to any of them....:)
