it's the primary-voting Republicans that scare them

in Australia the party pre-select candidates......in the US, it is party members that vote in primaries (as I'm sure you well know)

take the case of the Liberal nutter in WA who got dumped by the party recently because she expressed 5G-linked-to-covid conspiracy beliefs

in the US, the party may say something, but ultimately the primary vote will decide.......but in OZ, the Liberals just dropped her

Any senator who doesn't vote to convict Traitor Trump for inciting insurrection is a gutless worm who has betrayed their constitutional duty. Those gutless GOP senators will be judged harshly in history.
