The Trump situation does unusual things to ordinary people like us. You will not be aware since I changed my signature here, for the specific purpose of catching Trumpster's attention, that it is almost a certainty that you and I inhabit the same space on the political spectrum. I disclose I have always voted LNP at State and Federal level, and due to my direct involvement in fighting unions, have a strong antipathy towards Labor. I am centre-right in beliefs and voting.
None of that blinds me to the catastrophic failings of the Trump Presidency. I don't like a lot of the Dems policies, but I accept that will be a small price to pay to see this lunacy in the US ended, and a return to normal government process. The world, including Australia, will benefit from the end of a dysfunctional US Trump government.
