I am glad the election is over, that the Libs in their current unpleasant under performing form are gone and that Lab in all likelihood will form a slim majority government with relative friendlies on the cross bench and a somewhat cooperative senate.
We can vote on performance in 3 yrs.
I am even happier that Albanese is already looking to take the sting out of poisonous adversarial politics and also looking to take a strong line with China and a sensible line on renewables and climate change politics.
Fwiw, I think history will be kinder to Morrison than many might think … what a shit sandwich he had to handle for 2-3 yrs.
