    get in line

2 distinct standout market categories that are traditional in their segment are 'custom silicon' and 'off the shelf '
Management here state clearly off the shelf is the breakthrough point ....or was is now more accurate

the delineation between custom silicon and off the shelf silicon is that custom is application specific / power managed specifically in tape out RTL to achieve 'golden' sign off in exact power optiimisation for that application
RTL and GDS are the cost pain points for that reason - then getting first silicon to operate within that design with zero errors
( automotive quality requirements demand 10 defective parts per billion ....from chip makers 10ppb....)....on a 15yr life cycle

simply put Weebit bridge this gap and meet this unmet need between the 2 significantly reducing design cost and time to market ....that is why this bad boy is a disruptor - it has an immediate market application - every device on the planet is achievable for this reason alone ......understand this simple volume production equation applied to weebit and its partners and you have $$$$$$$
you get the ultra low power management as an off the shelf inclusion and at a cheaper cost ....as well as all the other commercial upsides mentioned up the thread...think about that for the companies looking to custom design and trying to reduce cost expenditure .....
they think i can use these guys without additional foundry cost in retooling - there are zero supply issues as its is not material critical - it is ultra low power off the shelf - reduced design downtime and there fore faster manufacture delivery - it is non volatile which
further reduces power operating cost across time and meets the custom process nodes required ...it scales
thats why the pressure came for these guys to scale to 22nm .....no boys forget your 28nm play point and get to 22 where we the foundry can open the market to you with volume production and exponentially increasing revenues we all win = $$$$

if its GF they must be licking there lips - the Singapore fabs they own are fully depreciated - they own them outright....put this reram to manufacture through those lines and it all profit rolleyes.png
mram is not even a player here ....thats why the mram comparative is so ridiculous .....

that is disruption in its true sense - that is why it will potentially find its way into every device on the planet.....long game of course
takeover - no way ....why would you if you're holding this in your cleanroom....there is no offer that comes close to the revenue potential of this SoC across all the intended applications.
