My take on the Parse initiative:

• Buddy and Parse have identical foundations - mobile back-end services

• Buddy pivots towards IoT - focussing on device data rather than app data - still data but different source

• FB buys Parse to beef up its mobile skillsets

• FB achieves astonishing success in mobile via social media and marketing - overshooting any need for Parse

• FB shuts down Parse to focus on various $billion initiatives like Virtual Reality

• Many large corporates on Parse are now wondering where to get their full service app backend serviced / many small players will find cheap solutions elsewhere

• Buddy sees opportunity to takeover Parse backend offering as a means of building relationships with those large corporates - and is happy to see smaller players find something else

• Buddy now has a massive new (and hardwired) sales pipeline for getting a start with those corporates and selling them on to IoT backend services

• Masterstroke!!!!

• Buddy anticipates migration from Parse to Buddy to be loaded toward December 2016 - but the flow will commence from this May

• This is as good as it gets in terms of company building announcements - consider this the first major catalyst of supernormal growth
