Because it would mean my child could never then afford the great 'Aussie dream' as I would have sold him down the stream without a paddle. I have the ability to think long term not short term.
Let me now ask you a simple question.
Why cant Aussies buy freehold houses in China even though Chinese (communists) can buy in Australia?
Answer: Australians still suffer a convict/penal colony mentality and are more worried about whether they beat some chocos playing cricket than true nationalism.
