Dow Jones opened with a fairly heavy decline in the American market and although it fell to as low as 200 in the opening hour looks like it may come back to sit around the red 100 or so by close - unless rescue package is declared beforehand.
Anyway there has been speculation that the rescue package, which will be dealt with in a few hours, is not going to go through again.
"Democrats I say should stop holding up the situation". Something needs to get done and even if it does not work at least it was tried.
