Alterity talks about milestones and royalties when telling (in Dec 2020) about PBT2 as to be used with antibiotic-resistant drugs. So I assume that they plan to keep and own PBT2 but will license it to one or several companies to use. So Alterity will be selling license agreements (?) but not PBT2.

As been told, this resistance problem is huge. It kills some 700.000 people every year ( in the USA 23.000 ). The cost of it is some 20B in the USA, 10 x bigger in the world (my estimate). Some 2 M people in the USA and some 70M people (my estimate) in the world will get this type of infection every year. So this is not a 3c or 4c thing per one share, IMO. But nobody knows the worth of PBT2. That is why it is best to get milestones and royalties from sales.

I do not believe PBT2 to come back to AD trials, 2 years on PBT2 did not support it to be a long-term AD drug. ATH434 is weaker in zinc chelation than PBT2 when fighting against amyloid but IMO it looks that the iron in mitochondria is the main problem. Brain cells die because their energy supply does not work, to make this simple. Unfortunately, nothing is simple, however.

In any case, PBT2 is very valuable and its value is not yet in the price of this company, IMO. But I expect that it will be in this spring. But who knows, when the company itself does not tell anything about owning this kind of valuable molecule when marketing its own shares. So what is the company strategy, remains hidden.
