@@roboshan So it sound like Telstra has aspirations outside Australia as well as within. If this is the case, Telstra holding 100% gives them control of FredIT and the ability to drive its growth agenda.

Is there a case that say Telstra wants to merge its Fred Gateway with PharmX?
The ACCC is delving into the competition issues in the pharmacy industry with its investigation into the Chemist Warehouse / Sigma deal.
Could Telstra's taking control of FredIT be its response to the Chemist Warehouse / Sigma deal? Is it a coincidence that Telstra took this step to acquire Fred when it seems to be getting out of other investments?
