I think the compelling thing about Cellmid's midkine IP and know how is that they're working on both developing a recombinant human form of midkine (Kinera) and midkine antibodies (Lyramid). This gives their IP a wide range of applications and a tremendous knowledge base. That should be worth something by itself.

I guess the key is to combine that research knowledge into a few proper drugs at some point.
Maybe the symposium will lead to some new collaboration. (a declared goal as per the call for abstracts)
