CSN values are rated from 0: Low to 9: Superior so a raw value of 5 is about in the middle. In regards to washing, we could see the value move from a 5 to a 7 but i wouldn't be expecting a 8 or 9. However these are still not bad results, they could be a lot worse. Also i think its important to note that the Gross Calorific Value is just as important as the CSN values as this determines the price/discount at which the coal will fetch. Fingers crossed we see something around the 7400-7600 Kcal/Kg. (Anyone feel free to disagree with any of the above, I am not a coal expert)
Whilst thermal coal has a value I am ignoring it for now because there are plenty of other companies with larger and better quality deposits, for me its the met coal that will set this company apart.
