Again feel free to respectfully disagree but it is my opinion that what makes GPP's Guyana Morabisi project different is it is a greenfields project with pretty much no previous historical data. This is another factor due to the time being taken in my opinion. It can also be very exciting in my opinion and hence we can see with the REE find. Who knows what else they could uncover during the inevitable drilling stage?
As for REE discovery - Why wouldn't you try to investigate more through the drill bit if you believe there is alluvial mining scenario? It would seem foolish not to!
As indicated previously, the REE found at Robello region was samples collected as standard stream sediments and not gravel concentrate. It would/should be expected that the grades would be better nearer to the bedrock

, I could be wrong, but in my opinion GPP and GSM will have the major focus around the ~250m odd area around Turesi Ridge area FIRST, hopefully they drill it like a swiss cheese THEN the REE as this HAS BEEN FOUND already.
I would also assume that the Airborne Geo Surveys for LITHIUM will kick off soon as these cannot be done with low level cloud so weather permitting my belief is these will be done around the other areas of Morabisi (20km ridge area - Banakaro and East Camp)
I don't necessarily adhere to the notion management have set out priorities what they want. It is more the fact that sampling has given them a good start of where to focus on for the time being regarding drilling - LITHIUM AND REE. We have the Airborne Geo Surveys which will further assist in pinpointing highly prospective areas within the huge Morabisi region.
@Scarpa - It is my opinion also but I don't thing GPP management would be miners mate. Drill it/prove it then flick it off. USA is close by, China is increasing their exposure within the country - we can speculate for now. Seems like they are just making the right noises to the press gallery in my mind about establishing mines etc
Who knows though? Maybe getting more licenses from the government will make the company split off into a exploration/mining company and another company purely for OHD and SOP projects.
Anyone with any experience regarding this with previous companies and how it would affect shareholders?
We will see - looking forward to some more clarity this or next week.
