Couple of things stand out to me:
1) Global sales of Li-Ion batteries amounted to $46 billion in 2020. Demand for Li-Ion batteries (from different end-user industries) is expected to grow 10-fold by 2030.
2) The CATL are converting to NA-ion batteries in 2023.
I'd love people's thoughts on the Sodium-ion battery. From my limited reading about them they suffer from low energy density (75–165 Wh/kg) and struggle with charge-discharge cycles. Have these been overcome and how do they stack up against the Li-S battery?
