Very interesting day old article on Johnson and Johnson's woes from the Wall St Journal

Currently over 100,000 lawsuits against it. Of which opioid claims amount to around US $5-8 Billion at present of approximately US $18 Billion being pursued in the courts.

Of note, is the fact that whilst existing opioid claims make up between approx 30 - 45% of the sum sought from J&J, the number of claims against it are few at the moment compared to others. Check out the relevant graph.

We know that the opportunity created for PAR in the treatment of OA with its repurposed drug is huge... imo, big pharma already paying a hefty price for opioid failures will be compelled to look at (and pay for)  what PAR is in the process of developing.
