In the UK the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) has just released a major study into and around new diagnosis and treatment guidelines for OA. It’s the headline article in today’s ToL, and although we don’t get a mention it makes for interesting reading. Cost of OA to the UKs National Health Service is apparently around $20 billion per annum, and it will be nice to get a slice of that.
