In fact the second treatment was actually an 8 week course (2 mg/kg 2x/wk).
Speaking now from the POV of the other pentosan patient in my household, my cat’s vet gives him a treatment once every three months, which is four injections one week apart. If he needs it, he will give a top up single injection once in any month outside of the main schedule.
