If its useful, the blood thinning effect was the main side effect my doctor was interested in monitoring and controlling. He looked at my clotting factors before, during and after. He advised me to refrain from contact sports on the days I gave myself PPS, and the day after. I honestly think this was out of an abundance of caution, reasonably so. I initially experienced quite a lot of local bruising from the subcutaneous injections which I attributed to the anti clotting effect. But this seemed to go away later into the course of treatment - maybe my injection technique just got better.
