I completed a course of pentosan on a 4 year old pug last week and owner said after the 3rd shot (4x in total) she was a different dog. Hasn't been able to jump onto a bed etc for months and all of a sudden jumping all over the shop.
Dog was diagnosed on xrays as probable bilateral (both knees) cruciate disease with secondary osteoarthritis.
Owner extremely happy.
Had to stop non-steroidal anti-inflammatory earlier on because she was vomiting on it.
Real cases. Call it placebo if you haters want but I see this kind of improvement 60-70% of the time. Good hit rate if you ask me.
