Sorry for you too at 38. It is too young for total knee replacement, but take heart.
I started taking Naproxen SR 1000 43 years ago at 33. The SR stands for slow relief, so it doesn't hurt the gut too much.
Replaced left knee in 2012 and able to play tennis till 3 years ago with supports.
