interesting article in the lancet regarding the repurposing of the drug methotrexate. Results indicate a potentially clinically significant reduction in pain. The trials were done in Australia and there seems to also be some recent news stories on this. Looks like a potential competitor and the delivery mechanism is a pill (I assume daily).
