Sorry folks, as charming as Alan may be on the TV, he's simply a financial journalist who stems from being a newspaper editor.
He certainly has the look and feel of being informed and intelligent, however, when he reported on PAR several years ago as addressing 'dicky knees' it about summed it up for me.
I'm certain most long-term holders are better informed than him.
Anything for a story.
I can see why Paul talked with him, but he shouldn't have wasted his time.
