'We would like to invite volunteers aged 40–75 years and who suffer from pain and swelling in the joints of the hands to join our clinical trial based at the Musculoskeletal Unit, Monash University, Alfred Hospital, Commercial Road, Prahran.
The METHODS Study is a 2 year randomised controlled trial investigating whether the use of methotrexate can be effective in reducing joint damage and pain in people with hand osteoarthritis and joint swelling.'
