I came across this article (see below), i had to cut and copy one of the graphics below as it wouldn't cut and paste into here but its all the original content - the direct link is:
    https://apple.news/AkboG7upKTK-4FwPTREqvvA

..the link may or may not work, I had to create a temp (free) account to get it to work. These guys have spent an entire year trying to fight for this information to get out and be published.
Its quite overwhelming specially if you consider, as I have previously posted, that for the first time in 50 years the life expectancy is falling in the USA1 primarily due to opioid overuse...its an epidemic with some 100,000 deaths in the 7 years from 2005 to 2012 alone and the rate is increasing.

36 is the number of pills administered per person (man, woman and children) for everyone alive in the US in a year.
The FDA Im assuming will fast track us and may even open the trial (end the trial prematurely once good evidence is garnered) from PAR's progression to Phase 3. Lets see. It indeed is of epicdemic proportions the amount of heartache opioids is causing and all it does is mask the pain and does nothing for the root cause - These are my opinions. Always in your interest to DYOR.

    Drilling into the DEA’s
    pain pill database

By TheWashington Post Updated July 20,2019

For the first time, a database maintained by theDrug Enforcement Administration that tracks the path of every single pain pillsold in the United States — by manufacturers and distributors to pharmacies inevery town and city — has been made public.

The Washington Post sifted through nearly 380million transactions from 2006 through 2012 that are detailed in the DEA’sdatabase and analyzed shipments of oxycodone and hydrocodone pills, whichaccount for three-quarters of the total opioid pill shipments to pharmacies. ThePost is making this data available at the county and state levels in order tohelp the public understand the impact of years of prescription pill shipmentson their communities.

These records provide an unprecedented look atthe surge of legal pain pills that fueled the prescription opioid epidemic, which resulted in nearly 100,000 deaths during the seven-year time frame endingin 2012.

A county-level analysis of the cumulative datashows where the most oxycodone and hydrocodone pills were distributed acrossthe country over that time: more than 76 billion in all.

The Post gained access to the Drug EnforcementAdministration’s Automation of Reports and Consolidated Orders System, known asARCOS, as the result of a court order. The Post and HD Media, which publishesthe Charleston Gazette-Mail in West Virginia, waged a year-long legal battlefor access to the database, which the government and the drug industry hadsought to keep secret.

The version of the database published by ThePost allows readers to learn how much hydrocodone and oxycodone went toindividual states and counties, and which companies and distributors wereresponsible.
