Yes true only because humans live longer, but the physiology is pretty much the same.
Why does mobic/meloxicam (NSAID) work so bloody well in both dogs and humans if arthritis so damn different???
It's like saying penicillin won't work on dog's because they get different infections to humans, yes they do but still works.
