Just for information and not advice.
I can only speak from my experience with Durolane and I am sorry to say it had zero effect on my symptoms. However, I didn't feel any pain from the injections (both knees), but definitely did not get any relief from my arthritis symptoms either.

I have Patellar Femoral arthritis, which may not be what you are suffering from. My tibio-femoral joint is actually fairly healthy.
Eventually I went down the road of steroid injections (Cortisone) and that gave me substantial pain relief for around 6 months, then another 12 months after a second injection. I won't get a third, as it apparently can have negative effects on the cartilage.

On another note,
I am in Sydney, was approved for the SAS 18 months ago, but never heard back from my doctor. He doesn't answer correspondence.

Does anyone know of a doctor in Sydney that is willing to do the SAS process ?
