Its nice to see the Feds putting money into research that will lead to more revenue for Somnomed, as this just released open bid to General Practitioners to be involved in the research.

National Health and Medical Research Centre Funded Research Study – Obstructive Sleep Apnea

"At the Woolcock Institute of Medical Research, we are currently undertaking an NHMRC-funded research study into the diagnosis of Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) within the primary care setting. We hope to involve GPs throughout the greater Sydney area, and are offering RACGP-accredited training in the recognition and management of OSA (Active Learning Module – 40 Category 1 QA&CPD points). All patients aged 18-75 who present with suspected or possible OSA are eligible to participate (GPs will be reimbursed for each patient, to cover the small amount of additional work required.)"
