Australia is much further to China than Ovoot is and yet Aussie coal companies are profitable selling to China, so I won't worry too much about the distance.
The rail line from Ovoot connecting it to the "serious rail" will be shared by two or three other deposits and by the farming community.
AKM is not so cheap as you have expressed it. It is fully valued based on its inferred resource of 330mt. As the company increases its resource and move closer to production, the market re-rates the SP accordingly.
