They may have 100 million customers but of that one needs to subtract those that have more than one device, families may have several, corporate users that doesn't allow add ons etc. Of the remaining percentage, how many can afford to subscribe to the offer.
The other unknown is with the gauranteed sub numbers it may be a case of a lower fixed price until sub numbers exceed the gaurantee. If one thinks in a business sense would you make a deal gauranting a set number without knowing a cost figure? As content has not been finalised would mean the set price is an unknown. Someone has previously posted one of these companies made a loss of US 211 million. Why would a business pay full price when sub numbers are below actual subs? That leaves a cloud over how this set up with guaranteed numbers pricing will work until the details are released. The devil is always in the details.
