Only 2 likely scenarios from here, the deal is done and not announced or the company is providing a facade. The latter would be terminal and highly unlikely imo.
If anyone has done any research on Ooredoo offerings for the 2014 WC u will see that it was very late. In fact some media releases were not presented until after the WC had commenced.
Whilst in Western world we put a big focus on being on time, this is unfortunately a cultural difference with our Indonesian neighbours and something imo which is creating frustration for the company and investors alike. Hopefully the company and investors can learn from these constant lessons. However, notwithstanding the above, what’s in our control is a market update, unfortunately we continue to be disappointed in this area.
As investors the power is ours, stay committed or sell. The rest is white noise.
