After 4 plus hours (since last night)reading and catch up on those hundreds of media articles and HC posts and ...my though on CNP is:
1. Positive on debt extension for another 6M, even no confirmation so far.
2. The offer presented to CNP so far does not meet the board's expectation, which is hoping not to firesell the asset. CNP worth nothing without those asset, regardless how the share price use to be.
3. The announcement of the extension will be exciting, but will not be the turning point of CNP...
4. the post-extension time could be even more challenging for CNP, because it has to work harder to get the abnkers satisfied and not to push to sell the asset.
5. Long term Shareholders are banding on CNP' business still stong in the future, but that is not necessarily the case, considering the globle credit condition right now.
Above reasons keep me watching the CNP but I will not jump into the boat right now.
what I would like to says is CNP DOES has the vlaue and you can do some trading if you good on it. But we all need to bear in mind "Never fall in love with a stock". Those who is hoping it can rocket up to 2$ and make a sweet/easy profit will be disapointed.
