He says “Lung imaging screening programs should be established for ALL veterans at risk with low dose CT scanners. Public-Private-Partnerships are critical with new modalities from 4DMedical, and Philips.” Is it matter of time for us?
Hopefully the session gave the various VA senior officials (including Shereef Elnahal) and representatives more impetus after the meeting to advance any commercial discussions and/or grant any ATOs etc.
Interesting mention of another commercial radiology network in RadNet (NASDAQ listed) to scale the efforts (370+ outpatient imaging centres). It’d be efficient given the size of the task; and still more cost effective than biopsies and hugely better patient experience for Veterans.
