Only because we're all bored waiting for 4DX's next announcement......
It's not about spelling errors or typos. We all make those because we can't be bothered to carefully proofread what we write. "Bare witness" is not one of those. She's using a cliche she doesn't understand and thinks that 'bare' is correct so no amount of proofreading would have helped. Another popular one is 'tow the line'. There are two golden rules when it comes to writing and cliches: 1) don't use a cliche you don't understand and 2) don't use cliches.
