It is not AF that is challenging the composition of the company, it is yourself. AF is an outstanding visionary, leads an expert team and I am sure obtains excellent information regarding operational business matters. People working in this field have very high level qualifications. His salary is commensurate with the business he is working to grow and the quality staff he manages. Highly educated people deserve high pay. The share price is hardly likely to rise if salaries are lower; more likely the ability to attract the necessary qualified staff will diminish is pay is low. Then were will the company be? Ask yourself, would you work for say less than $150-$200k with the qualifications these roles need? Rather than being displeased with the company, you should be seeking to establish why the products are slow in uptake and why the market is holding the price down. Perhaps, to broaden market knowledge of the products on offer, significantly more highly qualified sales staff are needed rather than taking the view of reducing staff? The reality of the share market is just that, it is a market and when buying a stock one needs to accept the SP may go higher, it may go lower or it may disappear form listing.
