I asked AF about these ai products in an interview just before the imbio acquisition. I asked him about Optellum, which is a competitor to the one you mentioned.
These solutions help find lung nodules (cancer bits) quicker in still scans, however as the are only looking at single images they don't offer anything about lung function.
4DX looks at lunch function as well as anomalies such as cancer nodules. It offers a whole new way for doctors it examine lungs moving from still scans to movement and function of the lungs.
with imbio, 4DX now 'owns the lung' doing everything these ai s do and way more. AF said he doesn't view them as competitors.
(any doctors out there feel free to correct me if this is wrong).
