Winmar appoints Non-Executive Director
(ASX:WFE) Winmar Resources Ltd (Winmar) is pleased to announce the appointment, effective immediately, of Mr Thomas Durr as Non-Executive Director.
Mr. Tom Durr is a qualified Mining Engineer with over 30 years’ experience of managing major capital projects and leading strategic management initiatives within the international mining and process industries.
During his career, Mr. Durr has held senior positions at the Chief Executive Officer, Managing Director, Vice President, Project Director, Business Development Director and General Manager levels within owner operator, Top 4 blue-chip consulting and various international EPC and EPCM contracting businesses. His experience has involved major project management roles in the United States, Northern and Central Europe, Asia and Australia. Mr. Durr is currently the Managing Director of his own consulting company, Prospice Natural Resources Pty Ltd, Business solutions.
Winmar’s Chairman Jason Brewer commented: “I am very pleased that Tom has agreed to join the Board of Winmar at this very exciting time in the Company’s growth. We have in a relatively short period of time set out a very clear and well supported strategy to acquire and advance cobalt projects in the Democratic Republic of Congo rapidly towards production.
