In the 2007 Annual Report, TAM says that the open pit grades at Sandpiper and Kookaburra are 4.1g/t and 3.7g/t respectively. Can't see any cross sections of the orebodies in the report, and no mention of strip ratio. Eyeballing it, it looks like a trucking distance, as the crow flies, of about 50kms.

They are in the "probable" rather than "proven" category. Or in laymans.... "we think that's the grade."

Sandpiper reserves have been diluted by 25% based on mining engineering input. That sounds a little excessive, and possibly reflects narrow or complex lodes? Worthy of follow up.

Kookaburra numbers, TAM says are unchanged since 2006. Is this wise in the light of the revisions (and downgrades) experienced at other deposits? Worthy of follow up.
