If the unit was in an owners corporation and you didn't buy it, you have dodged a bullet big time.
You will general find that you will have people managing your property with very little experience making no or bad decisions. and due to their staggeringly incompetents they need as much insurance as they can possible get and you as a owner will be held responsible for what they do.
Or they hand the management over to the a self interest group called Owner Corporation Managers and again you will be held responsible
I would never buy a unit from what I have heard.
