Yes of course, but it still matters about your preferences and what you believe the announcement means.
I agree with you - if you want to make some money quickly (trading only) SEY is the better choice. If you believe the announcement is huge and by huge I mean making the MC's of both coy's irrelevant, then SGY is cheaper for the same exposure.
But you are right - I'm over analyzing this...
