Logically why would Hardman go to the expense of an independant analysis of Chings reserves if they believed what Woodside had told them????

Hardman has always had independent reserves estimates done - its just to justify their balance sheet statements of assets.

The pieces may be coming together at last.

I know and agree with what you are getting at - but maybe the pieces are coming apart for Woodside.

And why would Woodside sling Mauritainia a $100m bonus to silence the bribery allegations?

Yeah - bonus like the signature bonuses that oilers pay to some African states. Woodside clearly bungled the previous negotiations - did they use a French firm for instance - would have been much smarter - but no - ...

I am really p*ss*d off - thats why I have resorted to humor today to cope - though I have followed the erudite posts of others on HC.

My cure for bowel problems involves lots of red wine follwed by some port and brandy. then again - I don't have any bowel problems - except for what Woodside gives me.
