Cmon, I think this logic also flows into the asset carrying values in the Financials. Across the board the explorers have large values held in exploration & development which is at cost or net realisable value. If the reserve calc is used to support the carrying value but this drops below cost there could be some write downs. (See ssailors ssn post re Tallow). Longer term producers look to be amortising over production life but the new producers or yet to produce explorers could have to review their numbers and something worth keeping an eye out
