Mr.Abbott has already shown he doesn't need "guts" to stand up for Australia - he can't call for an early election as this is a waste at the moment, the incumbent Govt. is the only one that can "call" for an election.
The courage that Mr.Abbott is showing at the moment is remarkable - he is holding back quietly and watching the incumbent minority Govt. self destruct through ineptitude and indeciseviness - an indeciveness that has cost lives.
No, not up to Mr.Abbott to fix things - up to the voters next time round.
