Bill Gair has resigned as CEO of travel.com.au Limited ("TVL")....

Bill Gair has resigned as CEO of travel.com.au Limited ("TVL"). Mr. Gair is a
pioneer of the online travel market in Australia, having been one of the
founding partners of TVL and its predecessor company approximately seven and
a half years ago.

During his tenure at TVL, Mr. Gair built and ran the highly successful
lastminute.com.au franchise, and has been CEO of TVL since November 2002.

Mr. Gair will consult to TVL for the next few months and will be available to
head project teams implementing strategic initiatives.

Adam Johnson, who is presently TVL's Chief Technology Officer, has been
appointed Acting CEO of TVL. Mr. Johnson was formerly Managing Director
and a major shareholder in Arnold Travel Technology Pty Limited ("Arnold"),
which was acquired by TVL in December 2004. Along with the previous
shareholders in Arnold, Mr. Johnson is now a significant shareholder in TVL.
The combination of the roles of CEO and CTO will facilitate the implementation
of technology upgrades currently underway.

Prior to joining Arnold, Mr. Johnson spent seven years at the multinational
software company, Sybase Inc., most recently as Managing Director for Australia
and New Zealand.

The company expects to consider outside applicants before making an
appointment to the role of CEO. It is expected that this will occur by the middle
of the year.
