Avexa has announced the resignation of board member Mr. Lawrence Gozlan, who was the last man aboard, joining in June this year.

His background is life-science funding, wheeling and dealing.
I wonder, was his short stay a good one, or does his departure reflect on Avexa's partnership options? (such as may or may not exist - nothing has been announced yet beyond the loose affiliation with Tibotec).

The chairman of course has thanked him for his efforts, and the man himself cites multiple business commitments as the cause of his departure, but out here in monkey-land, I allow myself to wonder if Mr. Gozlan's departure suggests a deal has been settled upon, which was other than Mr. Gozlan himself may have favoured.

Be nice to think there was a choice, wouldn't it? And that the rest of Avexa's board has chosen a good one.

On the other hand it could mean the ship is about to sink, and Mr. Gozlan got out before his association with Avexa becomes a black eye.

I'd like to think the former, I'm quite happy to accept the anodyne official pronouncements, and I doubt the latter, but then again, I'm lousy at predicting the future.

    Good luck, fellow travellers.

PS, speaking of board members, anybody going to the AGM?

    Regards, P.
